When Joe\'s extra-marital indiscretions force his company to transfer him to New York, Alice hopes it might be a fresh start. Especially when they find a beautiful old house in Connecticut to buy. It\'s the beginning of Alice\'s dream, and for a while she and Joe seem to be as happy as newlyweds.
