The results of seventy years of archaeological digging and exploration have been carefully conserved and are stored in the archaeological depot. Irma Boom has crafted a surprising collection from thousands of finds, arranging them in her own sequence of form, color, and texture. These are everyday objects that were commonplace to the city dwellers of the past, yet often mysterious or still recognizable to us today. With the collection assembled by Irma Boom, she presents Amsterdam's archaeology in a new, aesthetic light.
