Porsche Icons

The Typ 64 is the most mysterious of all the Porsches—and perhaps the most significant. It hails from 1938 and represents the complete DNA for all later sports cars from Porsche’s Zuffenhausen factory. A spectacular car, which incidentally has found a new home in the brand-new Porsche museum.

In this book, Frank M. Orel and Elmar Brümmer succeeded in reuniting the Typ 64 with its successors. In the process they tell the Porsche story in a compelling new way: exciting, aesthetic, technically intriguing, and always fascinating.
